Questions about becoming an archaeologist

I want to be an archaeologist, but I'm not tidy or organized and I hate writing. Do you have any pointers?

Dr. dig responds:
If you really want to be an archaeologist, you will learn to be tidy and organized when it matters most.

As for writing, you will have to learn to write no matter what career you choose. Archaeologists are not expected to be great creative writers. However, they are expected to report the facts accurately, and this is often done by filling out forms and reports, which provides you with the structure and organization before you even start.

In my experience, you will overcome your weaknesses when you do the work that you love most.
